How Did Liftonic Score Overall?
The full client experience at Liftonic was excellent, achieving our Fit Guide 4-Star Award.
The class was outstanding, winning our prestigious and highest 5-Star Class Experience Award.
Liftonic is featured in our article The Best HIIT And Strength Studios In New York.
The Highlights
The class had a fun energy and provided a supportive environment, which was really appreciated by our evaluator who was new to this kind of strength training.
What Our Evaluator Had To Say
“The class was strength training without any high impact moves, which felt like a nice change of pace from the many high intensity workouts available in the city.”
“The digital check-in process was easy and allowed any non-first time clients to prepare for the class at their own pace.”
“The studio was spacious and organized, offering a no-nonsense training space.”
What To Expect From A Liftonic Session
People go to Liftonic for one main reason - to get strong - but they stay for the community and atmosphere. They cater to all fitness and strength levels with qualified coaches that emphasise education and safety. A Liftonic class is typically 45 minutes long and focuses on specific muscle groups. For example, you'll hit Legs, Butt & Back on a Monday, so that you can come back quickly and hit another area such as Arms & Abs on a Tuesday.
The Reception Service
The phone number we found listed didn’t appear to be in operation, so we couldn’t speak to anyone at the club before our visit. On arrival, there was no reception staff to check us in, which was a little disorientating at first, however, the process overall was smooth and efficient.
The Class Experience
Liftonic received The Fit Guide’s prestigious and highest 5-Star Class Experience Award, highlighting one of the very best class experiences in New York.
Liftonic has hit the sweet spot for strength, offering a session and environment that is both encouraging and fun. There was a real sense of community in the club, which made us want to come back and be a part of it! The class did run over five minutes late, which had our evaluator rushing for their next appointment.
The Equipment And Studio
The equipment and studio space were clean and mostly in good condition, except for our bench which was a little uneven and rocked from side to side when lifting.
The Facilities And Public Areas
The public areas and changing areas were neat, clean, and unpretentious. However, there weren’t showers available at the facility, and some areas, such as the locker room, were not very spacious.
Workout and shower towels were not available. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available.
Digital And Technology
The website did a good job of explaining the class options and overall concept. Some more information on coach styles and bios would have been welcome.
