What To Expect From A Sweat 440 Session
Sweat440 is the HIIT and cross-training workout you’re never late for, with classes starting every 10 minutes. Each session is 40 minutes long and uses tools including medicine balls, dumbbells, sleds and bands for strength work and cardio machines such as Ski-ergs and Concept 2 rowers for cardio.
Each day is broken up into a different muscle group - for example, Mondays on lower body, Tuesdays is an upper body and core workout and Wednesdays are all about conditioning.
The workouts are designed for beginners and experienced fitness enthusiasts alike.
The Reception Service
The pre-visit phone inquiry could have been better as the operator did not readily know the answers to the questions asked. Our evaluator was warmly welcomed and made to feel immediately at ease upon arrival at the studio. The follow-up after the class was also appreciated.
The Class Experience
Sweat 440 has received The Fit Guide’s 4-Star rating for its strong class experience.
Our evaluator found it an enjoyable, energetic and well-structured class. They felt comfortable and well looked after at all times. The coach provided a lot of personalised assistance on form and offered encouragement throughout but a clearer opportunity to cool down would have been appreciated.
The Equipment And Studio
The equipment was of good quality and the training area was well laid out. There were no elements that elevated the sense of place or brand, however.
The Facilities And Public Areas
While the space was well appointed, the public areas were not particularly notable in terms of design or branded features.
Workout and shower towels were provided free of charge. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available.
Digital And Technology
The booking process could have been smoother but the website and communications were branded and professional. We appreciated the in-class technology.
