What To Expect From A Y7 Studio Session
The Y7 promise is bold and enticing: “Sweat dripping, beat bumping, candlelit yoga.” Y7 offers an accessible atmosphere that’s welcome to all and an environment that’s different to most other yoga studios you’ve seen.
Class types include 60-minute Weflowhard Vinyasa and 75-minute Flow + Restore.
The Reception Service
Our evaluators couldn’t find a number for the branch listed. When we turned up on the day, the service covered the essentials without going further. Staff were knowledgeable about the package options.
The Class Experience
Y7 Studio Flatiron received The Fit Guide 4-Star Class Experience Award, making it one of New York’s stand-out offerings.
The coach was clearly knowledgeable and kept the class flowing nicely. Poses were visually demonstrated well with well-placed and subtle adjustments offered where appropriate.
The Equipment And Studio
We enjoyed the high quality mats and the studio had a strong sense of place. There were interesting and notable branding elements, such as inspiring messages and quotes on the walls.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Despite a little wear and tear, our evaluators found the facilities to be adequate. The towels were not in the best condition.
Workout and shower towels were provided free of charge. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available.
Digital And Technology
Y7’s strong branding was present in their socials, website and email communications. On-demand classes and a branded app were also available.
Y7 offers an introductory package of three classes for $59 for first time clients.
If you’re looking for a longer-term commitment, memberships are available from $119 for four classes per month, up to $209 for unlimited classes. Both memberships include unlimited use of Y7’s digital offering, as well as free rental of socks and mats.
Drop-in sessions are available at $32 per class, with smaller commitment packages also available, starting at a five-pack for $155.
