What To Expect From A CorePower Yoga Session
CorePower offers classes for different ability levels, with their CorePower Yoga 1 focusing on the fundamentals and CorePower Yoga 2 offering more challenging poses for more advanced practitioners. Other CorePower offerings, such as Strength X and Yoga Sculpt, incorporate strength work using dumbbells and bodyweight exercises.
CorePower offers classes both online and offline and has a strong focus on community and promoting inclusivity and diversity at its studios.
The Reception Service
The reception staff did their job efficiently, checking us in comfortably and quickly. A little more effort could have been made to connect with us and show us around the facility. As we arrived during a quiet period, there was a good opportunity to do so.
The Class Experience
CorePower Yoga Village received our Recommended rating for the Class Experience.
The coach did a good job of ensuring that the class had options to go deeper, or to tweak poses to make them more challenging. He was clearly enjoying the teaching, however, more attention paid to first time clients would have been welcomed.
The Equipment And Studio
The yoga studio had a pleasant appearance and there was ample space available.
The Facilities And Public Areas
The club was clean and bright, which helped us feel comfortable upon entering. Although at times, the layout meant that clients were getting in each other’s way.
Workout and shower towels were available and charged at $2. Lockers were provided with key locks. Free water refill stations were available.
Digital And Technology
There was no technology element to the class, but the brand's website, online booking process, and social media channels all played their part in a smooth digital experience. We would like to see more information on each instructor’s style and approach.
Pricing
Corepower Yoga offers a ‘first week free’ promotion on their website for new clients.
Clients can purchase drop-in classes priced at $38 per session, as well as smaller commitment packages, starting from five classes per month for $185.
If you’re looking for a longer-term commitment, ‘all access memberships’ are available from $249.
