How Did CorePower Yoga Rock Center Score Overall?
The full client experience at CorePower Yoga Rock Center was excellent, achieving The Fit Guide 4-star Award.
The class was also very good, winning our 4-star Class Experience Award.
CorePower Yoga Rock Center is featured in our article The Best Yoga Studios And Classes In New York.
Our visit scored consistently well across the board, with friendly staff, a great class, and clean, presentable public areas.
What Our Evaluator Had To Say
“The class flowed very smoothly and was a great mix of cardio and slower poses.”
“The class had an upbeat energy while maintaining a calm atmosphere.”
“The public areas had a clean and fresh feel and made me feel comfortable as I prepared for class.”
What To Expect From A CorePower Yoga Session
CorePower offers classes for different ability levels, with their CorePower Yoga 1 focusing on the fundamentals, and CorePower Yoga 2 offering more challenging poses for more advanced practitioners. Other CorePower offerings, such as Strength X and Yoga Sculpt, incorporate strength work using dumbbells and bodyweight exercises.
CorePower offers classes both online and offline and has a strong focus on community and promoting inclusivity and diversity at its studios.
The Reception Service
The reception staff were very friendly and courteous to us, offering a lot of great information to first timers at the club. After the class, however, there was unfortunately no one available at the front desk to discuss packages and continued training with.
The Class Experience
CorePower Yoga received The Fit Guide 4-Star Class Experience Award, making it one of New York’s strong, stand-out offerings.
The coach was very friendly and kept the pace and energy moving along. Modifications and adjustments in weight were offered to ensure the class was at the right level for everyone. Our evaluator noted their experience could have been improved had more attention been paid to individual form and technique.
The Equipment And Studio
Whilst there was nothing that really made it stand out, our evaluator found the space very clean and fresh, with everything needed for a yoga class.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Our evaluator found the club a little hard to find but, once there, found the space to have a clean and fresh feel.
Workout towels were available and shower towels were available, but cost $2. Lockers were provided with key locks. Free water refill stations were available.
Digital And Technology
Whilst no technology was used to enhance the class experience, the digital reservation process was efficient and the online brand presence was strong overall. There was no information on the individual coaches and their styles, which we would have liked to have seen before our visit.
CorePower Yoga offers a ‘first week free’ promo on their website for new clients.
Clients can purchase drop-in classes priced at $38 per session, as well as smaller commitment packages, starting from five classes per month for $185.
If you’re looking for a longer-term commitment, ‘all access memberships’ are available from $249.
