The Reception Service
Our pre-visit call to the club was informative and polite, helping us feel ready for our visit.
On arrival, we were promptly greeted and checked in quickly. A tour of the space was offered and we were advised, as we had arrived early, to grab a coffee nearby.
After checking in with us after the session, the team was confident and comfortable talking us through the membership options.
The Class Experience
VAURA Double Bay has received The Fit Guide 4-Star Class Experience Award, making it one of Sydney’s stand-out offerings.
The 20-minute introduction to Pilates was brief but comprehensive, giving us enough confidence to tackle the reformer. A countdown timer in the studio helped the class start exactly at the scheduled time, with our instructor inviting anyone with injuries to let her know, so exercises could be adapted.
As a newcomer to VAURA and Pilates, we were happy to see our instructor offer good attention to beginners throughout the class, offering discreet and concise feedback along the way.
Energetic and upbeat, she offered easier and tougher options to pace the class at the right level for everyone.
The Equipment And Studio
Both the equipment and studio were in great condition overall. The studio had a clear and strong brand presence, with lighting that changed color throughout the class. This added to an impressive audio-visual experience.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Workout towels were provided free of charge. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available.
The public areas were well-designed and enhanced the sense of brand
The public areas contained strong branding elements throughout and were in excellent condition. The changing and shower areas were clean and in good condition.
Digital And Technology
The website was modern, sleek and allowed for easy navigation. The booking process was intuitive and included a lot of communication from the club via email, which helped prepare our evaluator for their class.
