The Highlights

A highlight of our visit was the vibrant lighting system and pumping music, which created a truly nightclub-like experience that matched the vibe of the intense workout.

Having two coaches meant that each client received plenty of attention and was well taken care of.

What Our Evaluator Had To Say

“Both coaches were extremely attentive and made sure that I was keeping up with everything.”

“The two coaches helped me feel comfortable with some of the more technical movements in the class.”

“We were invited to a party after the workout, which showed that the club had a welcoming and strong community”

What to Expect From An S30 Training Session

The 30 in S30’s name represents the 30 challenging sets that you will complete during the 45-minute workout at any S30 studio. Their programs are expertly planned by the S30 team at their HQ in Perth and followed in all S30 clubs across their network.

The club has seven different workout types, one for each day of the week. Each workout has a strong focus on improving strength through heavy compound movements; with Back2Back being their signature upper body workout and Get Low providing a killer leg day.

S30 also offers conditioning classes, with three hybrid offerings that supplement their trademark strength sessions. Their Best Friends class may be the one for you if you are looking for some extra accountability.

The Reception Service

On arrival, we waited on the street outside as there was no waiting area. Both coaches were leading a class, but once they had finished they were polite and friendly, introducing the space and concept to us well.

The Class Experience

S30 Training Surry Hills received The Fit Guide 4-Star Class Experience Award, making it one of Sydney’s stand-out offerings.

We had two coaches taking us through the session, which helped deliver a high level of attentiveness and care. As first-timers to the studio, they gave us extra time and coaching, especially on some of the more complex movements.

The class was a fun, upbeat and well-coached experience, which was nicely rounded off with an invite to an upcoming party that was being held at the club!

The Equipment And Studio

The studio was fresh, clean and in exceptional condition. Equipment such as the dumbbells and boxes featured on-brand detail and were in plentiful supply.

The Facilities And Public Areas

Shower towels were provided free of charge. Workout towels were not provided. Lockers were not provided. Free water refill stations were available.

The club did not have a dedicated waiting area or changing rooms. There were, however, bathrooms nearby. There were no lockers, but belongings could be placed in cubby holes at the back of the class.

The website featured sleek branding and had all of the information that the client needed to prepare themselves for the session.

The social media pages contained high-quality content which accurately represented the experience and was updated consistently.
