Our professionally handled pre-visit phone call started our KX Pilates journey strongly. The class experience was also very good, offering us a smooth and attentive introduction to Pilates.
What Our Evaluator Had To Say
“The explanations of each exercise were paired with detailed and simple demonstrations.”
“The equipment and accessories, such as the Yoga ball and bands, were very high-quality and helped create a premium feel.”
What to Expect From A KX Pilates Session
KX Pilates describes itself as a “modern evolution of Pilates”, offering traditional Reformer Pilates principles combined with more progressive training techniques. KX’s workouts are full-body and can be adapted to all levels.
Sessions are 50 minutes and are based on the Japanese philosophy of ‘Kaizen’, which means ‘change for the better’.
Class types are built to cater to all levels, with Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced classes.
The Reception Service
The pre-visit phone call to the studio was informative and handled professionally. On arrival, there was no one at the front desk area as the instructor, who was also in charge of checking people in, was busy coaching a class. Once they had finished, registration was brief and functional.
After the session, pricing options were shown to us on the instructor’s phone.
The Class Experience
KX Pilates Mosman received The Fit Guide 4-Star Class Experience Award, making it one of Sydney’s stand-out offerings.
Our instructor was energetic and provided individualized advice on form throughout the class. It was clear that the coach was qualified and knowledgeable, offering explanations that were clear, concise and paired with excellent demonstrations.
A special focus was offered to beginner clients and our instructor was always available for questions and help.
The Equipment And Studio
The studio was clean and all of the equipment was of high quality. The environment was fresh and comfortable, and there were numerous branding touches and logos throughout the studio, without it being overbearing.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Towels and lockers were not provided, although a free water refill station was available.
The public areas were basic and unbranded, including small changing rooms, a single toilet and one shower. The waiting area was limited in space but featured a sufficient number of seats where clients could wait.
Digital And Technology
The booking experience was simple as the website was easy to navigate and contained all the necessary information. On booking, we did not receive a confirmation email or text message.
