The instructor led a class that was well-suited for both beginners and more advanced practitioners.

The club's 'consent cards' indicated whether participants welcomed hands-on adjustments to their form from the instructor, which was a unique and welcomed feature.

A Humming Puppy studio has a distinctive look and feel, offering a minimalist and classy space that is light on logos and heavy on ambience.

Their class types include Mellow Hum for recovery and deep restoration; Unified Hum for exploring uplifting movement; Dynamic Hum for challenging strength, and Foundation Hum for discovering the fundamentals in a supportive environment.

We were unable to connect with the club by phone before our visit, as their listed number was not in service. 

On arrival, the check-in process was quick and our spot was confirmed. A brief verbal orientation was offered and we were invited to wait whilst the studio was being prepared.

Our class started a touch late but, once it had kicked off, our instructor took us through an enjoyable and positive session. She injected humor into the session and took care to offer regressions and progressions for everyone. This helped create an environment where all levels could flourish.

The studio was clean and the mats and blocks were of high quality. The design of the studio was striking, with a crisp, minimalist look adding to the sense of brand.

Workout and shower towels were provided free of charge. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available.

The public areas were nicely designed and presented and were in line with the overall brand aesthetic.

The waiting area and changing rooms had couches, which provided a comfortable seating option. A pleasant scent on arrival added to the sensory experience.

The club’s website was easy to navigate and allowed for a simple booking process. The aesthetic of the brand’s social media pages was consistent with our experience.

Humming Puppy offers an introductory deal for first-time clients of seven days of unlimited sessions for $45.

If you are looking for a longer-term commitment, memberships are available from $128 per month for one class per week up to $200 for unlimited sessions.

Drop-in sessions are available at $35 per class, with smaller commitment packages also available, starting at a five-pack for $165.
