“The studio was well-lit and spacious."
What to Expect From A BodyMindLife Session
BodyMindLife offers a wide range of yoga and Pilates classes. Reformer Pilates sessions range from the more intense Dynamic class designed for advanced clients to a Mums and Bubs class programmed to help rebuild strength and flexibility post-partum.
Yoga at BodyMind Life involves classes such as a relaxing Chill Flow class to a more challenging heated Open class, with the room at 30°c.
The brand was born from “a desire to empower transformation through education” and was reportedly the first Australian Yoga Studio to fully dedicate its yoga offerings to Vinyasa.
The Reception Service
Our pre-visit calls to the branch went unanswered. On arrival, registration was quick with an orientation of the studio given. Overall, interactions were more transactional than warm.
The Class Experience
BodyMind Life Surry Hills received a Rated score for the Class Experience.
Our coach was confident and communicated the structure of the class well. More connection and interaction with us as first-time visitors would have helped improve the experience.
The Equipment And Studio
The equipment was of high quality, with some wear and tear noted. The studio lacked strong branding elements but did provide a fresh environment for the class and was well-lit.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Workout and shower towels were not provided. Lockers were provided with key locks. Free water refill stations were available.
The club had a good range of facilities, including multiple showers, a changing room and toilets. There were numerous branded touches throughout the public areas and there were enough benches around the studio so that everyone had a place to sit.
Digital And Technology
The website was designed professionally and very easy to navigate. The aesthetic of the club’s social media pages was in line with the brand and also represented the client experience well.
