What to Expect From A Bodylove Pilates Session
BodyLove Pilates operate out of two locations in central Sydney, with The Penthouse location boasting stunning views from their 8th-floor studios. The club offers a variety of reformer-based Pilates classes such as Jump Rebels, Whip It, Total Bodylove Reformer, Reformer Flow and a Prenatal Class.
You'll be using high-quality BalancedBody reformers as you work up a sweat and feel the burn in a Whip It class, or as you “ease into a sensory experience of mindful release” in a Reformer Flow class.
The club provides a wealth of other classes, such as pre and post-natal sessions, in addition to their mat yoga and mat Pilates offerings. No matter your requirements or skill level, BodyLove Pilates aims to provide a suitable option for everyone.
The Reception Service
Our pre-visit calls to the branch went unanswered. On arrival, the check-in process was smooth and the coach greeted the client promptly upon arrival.
The team offered all the information needed for the session. More personalization would have improved the experience.
The Class Experience
BodyLove Pilates received our Rated rating for the Class Experience.
The session started well with our instructor asking if we’d done Pilates before and offering an introduction to the Reformer machine. The class then started on time and the structure was communicated well.
Although our instructor was clearly knowledgeable about Pilates and demonstrated great form, a more personalized and attentive approach would have helped to improve the experience.
The Equipment And Studio
The reformers were in great condition and the other pieces of equipment were clean and in good working condition. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided a great view of the city’s CBD.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Shower towels were provided free of charge, although workout towels and lockers were not. Free water refill stations were available.
The public area’s walls were painted in light colors and the numerous windows allowed lots of natural light to enter. There was a single unisex shower at the club and no amenities were provided.
Digital And Technology
The booking process was easy overall as the club's app and website were both easy to navigate. After we'd booked our session, we received emails with all the info needed to help us feel prepared for the session.
