Reception Services
Our pre-visit call to the branch was handled well, with the operator showing interest in our training. At the end of the call, we felt excited and ready for a great session.
On arrival, our evaluator was immediately greeted and given an unprompted tour of the studio. They were told all about the sessions and what to expect in the upcoming class, as well as where all the essential facilities were. The staff member was friendly and made an effort to get to know them.
After the class, our evaluator was asked to visit the website when asking about membership options.
The Class Experience
A Squad Called Savage received The Fit Guide 4-Star Class Experience Award, making it one of Sydney’s stand-out offerings.
Our front desk staff was also in charge of the class, and he brought his outgoing and friendly personality from the check-in process into the class.
After a very high-paced warm up, our coach did a solid job of constantly checking in on class participants and asking them how they were doing during the class, as well as offering discrete adjustments to their form.
He made an effort to introduce the first-timers to one another, which added to the sense of community at the club.
The Equipment And Studio
The equipment was in decent working order and was high quality, although a little worn in places.
The training area clearly enhanced the sense of brand by having logos, signs and neon lighting around the room.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Workout and shower towels were provided free of charge. Lockers were provided with locks. Free water refill stations were available. The public areas provided the basics, but showed some wear and tear.
Digital And Technology
Packages could be purchased on the club’s website, although the booking process required some patience to navigate. More information on the club would have improved the online booking experience.
