The full client experience at Ministry of Fitness was excellent, achieving The Fit Guide 4-Star Award.
The class was outstanding and the highlight of our visit, winning our highest accolade, the 5-Star Class Experience Award.
The Highlights
The class experience was a clear highlight of our visit, as the coach made a strong effort to connect with participants individually. The use of MyZone heart rate monitor technology was also a standout.
What Our Evaluator Had To Say
“The coach knew exactly how hard to push clients and was very attentive to all class members.”
“The images of the coaches when they were cadets or in the military really added to the sense of brand.”
“The studio, equipment and public areas were comfortable.”
What to Expect From A Ministry of Fitness Session
Ministry of Fitness offers functional fitness training that is designed to challenge both physical and mental fitness, using military training techniques and programs designed by the founders.
The sessions are centered around improving strength, cardio and mobility in a fun and community-based environment.
Their standard sessions are called ‘Military Bootcamps’, but are offered in Strength, Endurance and Cardio class types. Spartan Training, Strength & Conditioning Adult Trampoline Lessons are also offered in the facility.
The Reception Service
The pre-visit phone call was handled professionally and the receptionist was able to answer all questions confidently. On arrival at the club, the coach was covering the reception duties and covered the basics well. The experience could have been improved had our evaluator been asked how they had enjoyed the class and been offered more encouragement to help them continue their training.
The Class Experience
Ministry of Fitness has achieved The Fit Guide 5-Star Class Experience award for an outstanding class, putting it amongst the very best in Singapore and the industry.
The coach led the class in a firm yet gentle manner, making a point to walk around constantly to observe every participant on form and technique. She knew by observation which participants needed an extra push or needed extra coaching attention.
The Equipment And Studio
The equipment and studio was well-kept, clean, and neat. The training area enhanced the sense of brand by having pictures showing the coaches' history as cadets or when they were training to join the military.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Workout and shower towels were provided free of charge. Lockers were provided with keys. Free water refill stations were available.
The changing rooms were clean, but some additional branding or design elements could have enhanced the space.
Digital And Technology
The MyZone heart rate tracking technology was fun to use and helped push our evaluator during the workout. The website was easy to navigate and the booking process was seamless. The social media pages allowed for great insight into how the club operated and what kind of training the club focused on.
