How Did CLMB Studio Score Overall?
The full client experience at CLMB Studio was great, achieving The Fit Guide 4-Star Award.
The class was excellent and the highlight of our visit, winning our highest accolade, our 5-Star Class Experience Award.
The Highlights
The coach did a great job of connecting with everyone, making a special effort to make first timers feel comfortable. Given that the equipment was new for our evaluators, this was an important piece in building the five star class experience.
What Our Evaluator Had To Say
“The coach made first-timers feel welcomed and personally encouraged clients throughout the workout, I really felt that the coach wanted me to enjoy the class.”
“The space was well kept, clean, and had enough room for the class to feel busy, but not crowded.”
“The receptionist made me feel at ease with his friendly manner and patience when attending to inquiries.”
What to Expect From A CLMB Studio Session
CLMB Studio offers 45-minute vertical climbing strength and cardio classes that use the legacy VersaClimber, coupled with bodyweight and dumbbell exercises.
The VersaClimber has seen a big comeback in recent years across leading fitness markets, but CLMB Studio is the first studio to bring the concept to Singapore. Vibrant lights, pumping music, and passionate instructors complete the experience.
Class types include Base Camp, which offers a HIIT and climbing “cardio blast; Elevate, which is an event split of cardio and strength, and Metcon, which is less about the music and more about your performance and metrics.
The Reception Service
Our pre-visit calls to the branch went unanswered. On arrival, check-in was smooth and efficient and the team offered an unrushed and warm orientation of the space. After the class, there was no staff present to answer our queries on packages.
The Class Experience
CLMB Studio has achieved The Fit Guide 5-Star Class Experience award for an outstanding class, putting it amongst the very best in Singapore and the industry.
The coach did a great job of learning and remembering everyone’s names, which really helped him personalize the workout and give shoutouts of encouragement along the way. This also helped to build a strong sense of community.
He was energetic and enthusiastic, making a real effort to connect with everyone.
The Equipment And Studio
The studio space was dark, with lighting features adding to the atmosphere and experience. The soundsystem was of good quality and could deliver the tunes coupled with the coach’s instructions.
The space, which had a dumbbell rack at the back along with the Versaclimbers, did not have many distinctive branded features.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Workout towels were available to rent for $1. Lockers were not provided, just shelves for storing bags. Free water refill stations were available.
There were no shower facilities available at the club, but clients could use the showers at a nearby gym.
Digital And Technology
Navigating the website was seamless. The social media pages of the club were updated regularly and were informative. A branded App was available for booking classes, but there was no element of technology involved in the workout experience.
