What to Expect From A BFT Raffles CBD Session

Body Fit Training (often abbreviated to “BFT”) is a functional strength and conditioning program that offers 13 different class types in a 50-minute format, led by multiple qualified and accredited coaches.

The weekly program at BFT offers both strength focused sessions, as well as more cardio-heavy classes. For the cardio work, you can expect to use rowers, air bikes and Ski-Ergs, with dumbbells, slam balls and barbells some of the tools of choice for the strength.

BFT’s program is periodized over 8-10 week blocks, built to train different energy systems in each session and with a focus on developing skills and technique.

The Reception Service

Our visit to BFT Raffles CBD began on a casual note. We were greeted by a coach mid-workout and asked to return in a few minutes, which made the first impression feel a little informal. Once back, check-in was quick and straightforward, followed by a short wait and a brief overview of the space. While the process lacked some polish, the tone was friendly and set a positive mood ahead of the session.

The experience improved after class. A team member took time to explain membership options clearly and with confidence, answering questions without pressure. A follow-up message later that day stood out for its detail and enthusiasm, reinforcing the sense that the team was engaged and keen to support our training goals. The post-class touchpoint added warmth and left a strong impression.

The Class Experience

BFT Raffles CBD receivedThe Fit Guide Recommended Rating.

The class reflected BFT’s structured, upbeat and community-driven style. The session was well organised, with large digital screens guiding each movement and making it easy to stay on track. Working with the same partner throughout added a team-based feel that kept the energy high and the group engaged.

The main workout struck a good balance between intensity and accessibility, supported by clear demonstrations and smooth transitions. The warmup and cooldown leaned more on the screens than the coaches, which made them feel less interactive, but the strong programming and high-energy playlist carried the session. We finished feeling challenged, accomplished and very much part of the BFT buzz.

The Equipment And Studio

The studio looked sharp and unmistakably BFT, with its bold blue colour scheme, branded equipment and clean, modern design. Floor-to-ceiling windows brought in plenty of natural light, giving the training area a fresh, bright feel. Equipment was high quality and plentiful, with enough range to support all fitness levels.

Both the strength and cardio zones were spotless, well organised and clearly well cared for. The sound system delivered crisp, motivating music that lifted the energy of the session. Aside from a few scuff marks beneath the mirrors, the space felt polished and performance-ready, in line with what you would expect from a leading functional training brand.

The Facilities And Public Areas

The public areas were compact but efficient, with everything close at hand. The bag-drop and waiting space were small, but clean, organised and kept at a comfortable temperature. Changing and grooming areas were practical, with basic hair and skincare products available, though space was limited.

The showers stood out. They were spotless, well maintained and stocked with quality toiletries and soft, complimentary towels. Lockers and workout towels were not provided, but a free water refill station and a selection of post-workout drinks added convenience. A few handwritten signs felt slightly off-brand, though overall the space was functional and in keeping with BFT’s community-focused feel.

Digital And Technology

Booking a class was quick and straightforward, with an easy-to-use website and app that felt modern and professional. The design was clean and motivating, aligning well with BFT’s data-led training approach. While no confirmation email came through after booking and first-timer guidance could have been clearer, the overall process still felt smooth and easy to manage.

The studio’s social media channels reflected the brand well, sharing real class moments and a clear sense of community. In-studio, the use of heart-rate tracking and body composition tech added a performance-focused layer to the experience. Together, the digital and physical touchpoints worked well, combining convenience with a strong emphasis on training data.
