What to Expect From An Aurora Session
As you step into the Aurora “darkroom”, you can expect advanced lighting systems and state-of-the-art surround sound, coupled with high-energy music and motivating instructors.
Aurora’s cycling concept is broken into “Rhythmic” and “Power” rides, with the Rhythmic sessions focused more on the music, and the Power classes focused more on the performance.
All sessions are 45 minutes long, with beginners being advised to start with the Aurora 101 class.
The Reception Service
Our pre-visit call to the club covered the basics with our questions answered. On arrival, the team was helpful and took us through an efficient check-in process.
The Class Experience
Aurora received our Recommended rating for the Class Experience.
The class was fun and we were guided by an energetic and lively coach. More individual encouragement and connection would have improved the experience.
The Equipment And Studio
The equipment and studio were a real stand out, with our evaluator particularly impressed with the lighting effects. The space was branded nicely and the bikes were from top brand Stages.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Workout and shower towels were provided free of charge. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available.
The club had some interesting features such as massage chairs and a ‘self-service’ shoe system. There were branded elements throughout. Some of the lockers were not working.
Digital And Technology
The booking process was smooth and emails sent to our evaluator contained important information such as when to arrive and the cancellation process. There was no element of technology used within the workout.
Aurora Studio offers an introductory deal for first-time clients of three sessions for $70.
If you’re looking for a longer-term commitment, unlimited memberships are available for $320 per month, although a four-month commitment is required.
Drop-in sessions are available at $55 per class, with smaller commitment packages also available, starting at 10 sessions for $370.
