The Ally Story

Ally, founded in 2021 by Tan Jenn Bin, is a rhythm cycling studio based in Singapore. With a philosophy focused on fostering a community that empowers, motivates, and inspires, Ally's four pillars encompass wellness, sweat, nourishment, and celebration.

Their training sessions provide an immersive and energetic experience, coupled with guest appearances from internationally renowned figures, such as Aamry’s superstar instructor Akin Akman.

Ally stands at one studio in Singapore, standing out with unique offerings such as Champagne Fridays, where each participant is treated to a glass of champagne after their workout - and a long week!

How Did Ally Score Overall?

The full client experience at Ally was world-class, achieving our highest and most prestigious The Fit Guide 5-Star Award.

The class was also exceptional and won our highest accolade, our 5-Star Class Experience Award.

The Highlights

The exceptionally high-end facilities and public areas were matched by an energetic, supportive, and friendly instructor. During our visit, Ally combined both physical and emotional excellence to create an industry-leading experience.

What Our Evaluator Had To Say

“Our instructor was very encouraging and brought a lot of energy to the room.”

“Despite it being a busy class, the instructor made a strong effort to connect with everyone individually.”

“The facilities were spectacular in both design and quality. The Dyson hair dryers, Aesop amenities, and still and sparkling water taps were particularly nice additions!’

What to Expect From An Ally Session

Ally quickly became one of the leading cycling studios in Singapore with their first spectacular location on Cross Street. The reception and waiting area, along with a champagne bar, has a vibe that is as much a Saturday night vibe as it is a fitness studio. The cycling studio itself has impressive lighting features and a high-end sound system.

Ally’s class offerings have differing lengths relating to their difficulty level, with beginners advised to start at the 50-minute Essentials 50 class. Their one-hour Signature 60 is for those that like an extra push, with an “exhilarating” Advanced 75 class as an aspirational goal for those that want to push themselves, physically and mentally.

The Reception Service

Our pre-visit call to the club was flat, delivering nothing more than the basics. On arrival, the team were friendly and pleasant, giving a brief but helpful orientation of the studio.

The Class Experience

Ally has achieved The Fit Guide 5-Star Class Experience award for an exceptional class, putting it amongst the very best in Singapore and the industry.

Our instructor was energetic, encouraging and brought an abundance of positive vibes to the room. As a new rider at the studio, we felt well taken care of, with the instructor regularly checking in with us, even though we were at the back.

After the session, she made sure to connect with all the riders as they left, which rounded off a great session.

The Equipment And Studio

Bikes were from leading brand Stages, with the studio space boasting attractive design and impressive lighting effects.

The Facilities And Public Areas

Workout and shower towels were provided free of charge. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available.

The reception and waiting areas were spacious and high-end, with seemingly no expense spared. The changing rooms were tastefully designed with a slick, contemporary look, with excellent attention to detail.

Even the toilets were high-end, and we noted numerous features that went beyond our standards and expectations, such as having both still and sparkling water taps.

Digital And Technology

The digital reservation was smooth and effortless, and the website did a good job of describing the class options and the brand’s values. There was no technology element woven into the workout experience.

Pricing

Ally offers an introductory deal for first-time clients of four sessions for $99.

If you’re looking for a longer-term commitment, larger class packages are available from 50 sessions for $1,500.
