What To Expect From A Tone House Session
You don’t need to be an elite athlete to train at Tone House, but you have to want to train like one. Their coaching team will tailor the workout and exercises to every individual, but be prepared to push yourself. Strength sessions focus on either upper, lower, or total body, with a traditional compound lift included such as deadlifts or bench press. Their Conditioning program changes daily and will give you an intense and well designed full-body and cardio workout.
In a typical Tone House session you can expect to use tools such as sleds, bands, barbells, dumbbells and kettlebells. And get ready for their famous warm ups, which some call the toughest part of the session!
The Reception Service
In our pre-visit phone call, the team did a good job of explaining the workout and facilities, which got us excited. Our evaluators got a service vibe that was “no-nonsense” but friendly, which put them in the right mindset for the session.
The Class Experience
Tone House received The Fit Guide’s 4-Star Class Experience Award, making it one of New York’s stand-out offerings.
We found the coach to be both motivating and incredibly knowledgeable. This was an important part of the experience as there were quite advanced movements in the program.
The Equipment And Studio
There were both subtle and impactful branding touchpoints throughout the studio. The studio had an impressive amount of different training tools, with plenty for everyone in the class.
The Facilities And Public Areas
The facilities were consistent and clean, with a high-end feel. The lounge area was particularly sleek and comfortable with spacious changing rooms rounding off an impressive space.
Workout and shower towels were provided free of charge. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available.
Digital And Technology
Tone House’s values were strongly presented on the website and a comprehensive bio was offered for each coach. We didn’t receive an email to confirm our booked class, which left us a little unsure on the arrival time and initial setup process.
Tone House offers a ‘2 for 1 Rookie Pass’ for first time clients, giving clients two classes for $45 rather than the usual one.
If you’re looking for a longer-term commitment, memberships are available from $550 for 15 classes per month up to $780 for 30 classes.
Drop-in sessions are available at $45 per class, with smaller commitment packages also available, starting at a five-pack for $210.
