What To Expect From A Sweat 440 Session
Sweat440 is the HIIT and cross-training workout you’re never late for, with classes starting every 10 minutes. Each session is 40 minutes long and uses tools including medicine balls, dumbbells, sleds and bands for strength work and cardio machines such as Ski-ergs and Concept 2 rowers for cardio.
Each day is broken up into a different muscle group - for example, Mondays on lower body, Tuesdays is an upper body and core workout and Wednesdays are all about conditioning.
The workouts are designed for beginners and experienced fitness enthusiasts alike.

The Reception Service
Our coach created a welcoming experience, making us feel comfortable as first-timers by clearly explaining the workout format and checking in throughout the session. Their personalized approach—using names and offering tailored feedback—was a great touch. The workout was well-structured, appealing to those who enjoy self-guided sessions while still benefiting from expert coaching.
The consistent flow and clear exercise instructions on the TV screens made it easy to stay on track. While there was no official warm-up or cooldown, the coach encouraged us to prepare independently, and smooth transitions kept the momentum going. The upbeat music, energetic atmosphere, and positive coaching made for an enjoyable and motivating session.

The Class Experience

The Equipment And Studio
The training area made a strong impression with its clean, well-organized layout that created a seamless workout experience. High-quality equipment, including strength tools from Ziva and Concept2 cardio machines, stood out, along with branded touches like logos on the weights and kettlebells.
Distinct design elements, such as the turf flooring and the club’s blue and gray color scheme, gave the space a professional, athletic feel. Circuit-display TVs added to the functionality, keeping the workout flow super smooth.

The Facilities And Public Areas
The club provided a functional and well-maintained experience, though the public areas lacked strong branding or standout design elements. The waiting area was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating and a fresh atmosphere, but no sensory details or architectural highlights to enhance the space and experience.
Lockers were clean, secure, and conveniently located, though they lacked hangers. Complimentary workout and shower towels were provided, and the changing areas were stocked with essentials like deodorant, dry shampoo, and moisturizers. Showers offered consistent water pressure and basic amenities, keeping things practical but unremarkable. Complimentary water was available, though no additional beverage or food options were spotted.

Digital And Technology
We found the overall digital experience impressive, with key highlights in the booking and in-class experience. The online reservation process was straightforward, enhanced by a branded app and professional communications.
The website and email communications were well-branded, offering a strong sense of the club’s identity. The emails included logos and images but lacked a strong feel of the brand's tone and vision.
In-class technology, such as screen displays, significantly enhanced the experience and set the club apart.
