What To Expect From A Rumble Boxing Session
Rumble Boxing offers ‘full body, boxing-inspired group fitness classes’ in a beginner-friendly, non-intimidating training environment. Their method combines the science of boxing with strength training.
Their instructor team consists of athletes, entertainers, boxers, and MCs who know how to deliver a highly positive and engaging workout. Expect to have a lot of fun whilst hitting it out on the Aqua Training Bags.
The Reception Service
The reception service was friendly overall and generally helpful. More personalisation would have improved the reception experience.
The Class Experience
Rumble Boxing Flatiron has received our 4-Star Class Experience Award for its excellent class experience, making it one of New York’s stand-out class offerings.
The coach was outstanding during our anonymous evaluation and really lived up to Rumble’s promise of delivering a workout that was also a lot of fun. More individualized coaching, of which there were opportunities to do so with it being a quieter class, would have enhanced the experience.
The Equipment And Studio
The darkened training room featured high quality lighting design, an excellent sound system, and a projection that ran along the walls above the mirrors and displayed the upcoming exercises. The microphone used by the instructor was also of high quality. All these aspects combined to create a unique nightclub-esque environment and experience.
Everything was on-brand, down to the custom-built training benches that included Rumble-branded knuckle dusters that were used as a lightweight for some of the exercises.
The Facilities And Public Areas
When it came to design, Rumble has gone the extra mile in tastefully making all aspects Rumble-branded. Some memorable features were the statement art pieces, wall murals, locker decorations, and the logo which was custom-built onto the speakers.
The changing rooms and amenities were also beautifully branded and in excellent condition.
Workout and shower towels were provided free of charge. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available.
Digital And Technology
The use of digital projections on the wall to display the upcoming exercises was noteworthy as they also included animations that were in line with the vibe of the brand.
It was easy to book a class and purchase a package online. The website and automated emails were well presented and got us feeling good and fired up for our visit.
