The Warrior One Yoga Story

Warrior One Yoga was founded in 2015 by Nova Rosaia, originally co-founded with Dustin Brown. The brand operates three studios across Brighton, Mordialloc, and Mornington on Melbourne’s coast and Peninsula.

Warrior One delivers a dynamic Vinyasa-based style known as the Warrior Method, combining strength-focused sequencing with mindfulness and breathwork. The studios are design-led, featuring natural light, textured materials, and custom-built shala spaces developed in collaboration with architectural practice Golden.

In addition to in-studio classes, Warrior One offers a comprehensive online membership platform and a nationally accredited 200-hour teacher training program. The brand positions itself around inclusivity, community, and sustainable growth, expanding its reach through retreats and digital programming.

Warrior One Yoga delivers heated and non-heated classes focused on strength, flexibility and control. Expect a blend of traditional foundations and modern flow, alongside slower options centred on mobility and recovery. Sessions move at a steady pace with clear instruction, building heat and endurance in a focused, controlled environment suited to both newer and experienced practitioners.

The Reception Service

Our experience started well on the phone. The enquiry was handled calmly and confidently, with clear explanations of class styles, pricing and the introductory offer. We felt informed and ready to book, and the conversation left us looking forward to visiting.

In studio, the welcome reinforced that start. We were greeted promptly, acknowledged as first timers and shown around in a relaxed and thorough way. We knew where to set up and what to expect before class began. After class, there was time taken to check in and answer questions about packages. There was no strong guidance toward a next session for us, though the tone remained friendly and professional.

The Class Experience

Warrior One Yoga Brighton received our Recommended Rating.

The class was calm, structured and professionally delivered. Instructions were clear, the sequencing made sense and pacing supported a focused session. The warm-up and cooldown were well timed, music levels were appropriate and the tone aligned with a quality yoga experience.

Our name was not used, no injury check was conducted and individual corrections were limited. The dim lighting created a nice atmosphere but sometimes made it hard to see demonstrations. The class ran slightly over time and there was no follow-up with us as first timers. Overall, the session was technically sound.

The Equipment And Studio

The studio felt comfortable and well maintained. Equipment was fully stocked, well spaced and easy to access. Floors, walls and ceilings were clean, and temperature supported a steady workout.

Lighting was intentionally dim, which suited the mood but limited visual clarity. The sound system was clear and appropriate for the session. Branding and architectural features were subtle, resulting in a functional rather than visually distinctive environment.

The Facilities And Public Areas

The studio was easy to find and created a calm arrival. Branding appeared through signage and printed materials, with warm finishes and wood elements adding to the setting. The waiting area was spacious with suitable music levels and clear safety measures.

Toilets and showers were clean with consistent water pressure and essential amenities. There was no dedicated changing room and no hairdryers. Lockers were clean and well located but did not include locks or hangers, and towels were not provided. There were no food or beverage options, including water refill. Overall, the space was well kept.

Digital And Technology

Booking was smooth through both website and app. Sessions and packages were easy to purchase, confirmations were prompt and cancellation policies were clearly outlined. Arrival instructions were communicated in advance.

The website was clean and easy to navigate, with class descriptions, schedules, instructor bios and directions clearly displayed. Email and text communications were timely and on brand. Social media reflected the in-studio experience.
