What to Expect From A Y7 Studio Silver Lake Session
Y7 Studio offers a unique, music-driven take on heated yoga, blending traditional vinyasa with immersive playlists and creative sequencing. Classes are open to all levels and designed to help deepen your practice while pushing your physical and mental boundaries.
Y7’s signature WeFlowHard® Vinyasa guides you through three rounds of a vinyasa sequence: the first for alignment, the second for flow, and the third for self-led movement in their signature Flow On Your Own portion. Additional formats include Power Vinyasa, Slow Burn, and Focused Flow, each offering distinct pacing and posture emphasis—from alignment and structure to strength and core engagement.
For a full-body workout, Sculpt uses low-impact, strength-based movement with props to tone the entire body. Y7 also offers Listen + Flow, pairing yoga with full-length music albums for a deeply immersive practice, and Breathwork + Cold Plunge, a 30-minute guided journey through breath peaks and cold exposure therapy.
With a variety of formats and a strong emphasis on individuality, music, and heat, Y7 creates an inclusive space to flow, sweat, and grow—mentally and physically.

The Reception Service
There was no phone number listed online, so it wasn’t possible to reach the club in advance.
On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist, who checked us in efficiently and explained the safety waiver thoroughly. He gave us a clear orientation of the space, including where to find lockers, showers, and the small studio where the class would take place. A nice touch was his proactive mention of the new client special before the class began, giving us time to think it over.
After class, he confidently walked us through the membership options and made a clear effort to close the sale in a non-pushy way. While he was knowledgeable and personable throughout, he didn’t ask questions to learn about our fitness needs or goals. Overall though, a solid experience.
The Class Experience
Y7 Studio Silver Lake received our Class Experience Award of Excellence.
We were highly impressed with the class experience, thanks to our coach’s positive energy and supportive style. She took the time to introduce herself before class, checked in with each of us, and explained the equipment and props clearly. Her encouragement and upbeat phrases created an inclusive and motivating environment from start to finish.
While her knowledge of movement and willingness to offer modifications were appreciated, the class occasionally lacked structure. Music changes and indecision about what came next disrupted the flow. There was also no injury check or attempt to learn about our training background, which limited personalization opportunities.
That said, the class was challenging, effective, and genuinely enjoyable. Her warmth and individual engagement left us feeling encouraged and eager to return for another session.

The Equipment And Studio
The industrial-chic setting at Y7 Silver Lake made for an impressive and memorable experience. From the bold signage to the distinctive layout, the space had a cool, garage-like vibe that felt intentional and brand-aligned. The separation between the main studio and the smaller back-lot studio added a unique edge, while everything from the strength equipment to the sound system was clean, high quality, and well maintained.
The facilities overall were in good condition, though a few cosmetic touch-ups in the workout area—like some peeling paint—would have elevated the space even further. The individual shower stalls, while spotless and stocked with premium Malin and Goetz products, lacked seating and convenient storage, making post-class transitions a bit awkward. Similarly, the waiting area felt a bit under-equipped, with only minimal seating.
Despite these small details, the studio’s immersive ambiance and clean, thoughtfully arranged layout left a strong impression.

The Facilities And Public Areas
We found the public areas at Y7 Silver Lake to be stylish, clean, and strongly aligned with the brand’s bold identity. The garage-style setting gave the space an edgy, urban vibe, enhanced by large signage and yoga-inspired messaging. The layout was unique, with two separate studio spaces—one inside the main building and another tucked into a separate garage in the back lot—creating an unconventional but cohesive flow. The hallway leading to the locker rooms and showers carried through the brand’s black-and-white aesthetic, and the branded workout apparel for sale added to the experience. Seating in the waiting area was limited, with just two chairs and a small bench.
Lockers were conveniently located, in excellent condition, and secured with keypad locks. Towels for both workout and shower use were free and neatly presented, and high-quality amenities like deodorant and dry shampoo were provided in clean grooming areas. The individual shower stalls, while clean and stocked with Malin and Goetz products, lacked space, seating, or storage for changing, making them a bit cramped.
There were no food or beverage items available for purchase, but free filtered water was available at a touchless refill station. Overall, the space was well-maintained, visually striking, and delivered a memorable branded experience.

Digital And Technology
TThe digital experience at Y7 Studio Silver Lake impressed us with its ease and clarity. The booking process was smooth and straightforward, and confirmation emails were immediate and informative, clearly outlining cancellation policies and arrival expectations. The website was intuitive and professionally designed, with consistent branding and playful copy like “We Flow Hard” that reinforced the studio’s personality. Email communications echoed this identity with cohesive visuals, fonts, and tone, making the overall digital touchpoints feel polished and well-aligned with the Y7 brand.
The club maintained a strong online presence, with regularly updated social channels that reflected the vibe and experience clients could expect. While the website offered essential information like class types and core values. We noticed that Instructor bios were missing, and detailed directions to the club were not included - small details. The cohesive branding, engaging communication, and seamless booking journey left a strong positive impression overall.
