The Reception Service

The phone inquiry wasn’t answered despite multiple attempts, which limited the chance for a first connection with the studio.

When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly and professional receptionist who recognized it was our first visit. She gave us a helpful walkthrough of the space, pointing out key areas like the lockers, bathrooms, and equipment. The studio felt clean, uncluttered, and polished. While the class booking wasn’t reconfirmed and no questions were asked to get to know us better, the overall welcome still felt smooth and supportive.

After class, there was no direct check-in about how the session went, but the staff remained approachable. When we asked, package options were explained clearly—including discounts—and the receptionist showed strong knowledge of the pricing and terms. That said, there was no effort to guide us toward a plan or explore our goals, so the conversation stayed helpful but passive, missing a chance to build more engagement or encourage a return visit.

The Class Experience

Pure Barre Beverly Hills received our Recommended Rating for the Class Experience.

We had a fun, upbeat class at Pure Barre Beverly Hills. The instructor brought great energy, kept mic and music levels on point, and created a welcoming vibe. She offered helpful form corrections and kept the session flowing smoothly, with clear structure and transitions. The class wrapped up nicely with a full cooldown and a warm thank-you to the group.

A few things could’ve made the experience even better. There was no injury check, and while the instructor was observant, offering alternatives during tougher moves—like push-ups—would’ve helped everyone feel more supported. Some instructions, like for the “tuck,” could’ve been demonstrated more clearly to avoid mid-class confusion.

That said, her enthusiasm and eye for detail left us feeling strong and energized.

The Equipment And Studio

The space was spotless and well-maintained, with high-quality gear that reflected the brand’s identity through signature red tones and “P” logos. From the weights to the mats, everything was in great condition and thoughtfully arranged.

The studio felt fresh and professional, with exposed white brick, polished flooring with red accents, and a bold branded wall creating a premium, cohesive look. Bright lighting and a crisp sound system added to the energy.

With plenty of clean, well-stocked equipment for all levels, the setup made for a smooth, comfortable workout that matched the studio’s polished, upscale vibe.

The Facilities And Public Areas

The public areas were tidy and stylish, with an industrial design featuring exposed brick, open ceilings, and a red neon “Lift, Tone, Burn” sign that reinforced the brand’s vibe. The space felt fresh and professional, with amenities like deodorant, dry shampoo, and cotton pads attractively arranged in glass jars within a vanity cabinet.

Lockers were clean and well-kept, though the mix of small keypad lockers and open cubbies felt limiting. More lockers and seating in the waiting area would boost comfort during busier times. Bathrooms were clean and functional, but there were no showers or designated changing areas. Complimentary water was available, but no paid drinks or snacks were offered.

Workout towels weren’t provided, and the lack of showers or larger lockers made post-class transitions a bit less convenient. Overall, the space delivered a clean, branded feel, but added touches would have elevated the experience.

Digital And Technology

Booking a class was hassle-free thanks to the intuitive website and branded app. The platform offered a personalized experience with features like goal setting, fitness app integrations, and a smooth, user-friendly dashboard. Clear arrival instructions, instant email and text confirmations, and easy cancellation options helped us feel fully prepped for our visit.

The website felt polished and aligned with the Pure Barre brand, with clear class descriptions, instructor bios, and studio policies. A bold “Free Barre Class” call-to-action invited new visitors, and an automated follow-up email confirmed our sign-up. Social media was mostly on-brand, though some font choices felt off, and the class schedule wasn’t visible in the feed.

Overall, the digital experience was seamless—smart onboarding, strong communication, and thoughtful tools made for an impressive first-time journey.
