The Reception Service
The phone inquiry was handled well. The receptionist asked helpful questions and clearly explained the class levels, booking process, and studio amenities. Her upbeat tone and structured approach made the call feel informative and reassuring. While she didn’t use our name during the conversation, the detail she provided left us feeling well-prepared for our first visit.
When we arrived, we were greeted promptly and given a quick orientation without needing to ask. That said, the walkthrough felt a bit rushed and didn’t cover basics like reformer assignments or where to wait. The front desk team was professional and friendly, but as first-timers, we would’ve appreciated a bit more personal attention.
After class, we got a polite follow-up when we approached the desk, but there was no proactive effort to encourage us to come back. The team was confident explaining pricing and promotions, but didn’t ask about our goals or suggest next steps.

The Class Experience
Club Pilates Brentwood received our Recommended Rating.
The class was led with professionalism and care. Our instructor gave clear explanations, demonstrated strong knowledge of Pilates, and offered helpful cues throughout. She moved around the room offering form corrections and words of encouragement, which contributed to a focused and well-structured class. Her energy and attention to form helped maintain engagement across the group.
However, as a newbie, we didn’t receive any special welcome or onboarding. Our instructor didn’t introduce herself individually or make an effort to learn or use names, and no personalized attention was given to newcomers. While regressions and progressions were provided, there were no alternative movements suggested for those who might struggle with certain exercises. Additionally, the music was so low it was barely audible, which reduced the overall energy of the session.
Despite these grumbles, the class was enjoyable and well delivered. The flow was smooth, the attention to form was appreciated, and the instructor’s passion for teaching Pilates was evident. A few small adjustments—especially around first-timer engagement—would have elevated the experience further.

The Equipment And Studio
The studio was clean, tidy, and in excellent condition throughout. All strength equipment—from TRX straps to Balanced Body reformers—was high quality and well maintained. While there was no cardio equipment in use, the space was well organized, with enough equipment available for all participants and fitness levels.
The blue lighting added a subtle branded touch and helped elevate the atmosphere. The space felt fresh and comfortable, with adequate room to move safely through each exercise. While the architectural design wasn’t particularly unique, the overall environment was inviting and well-kept.
The only area we felt could benefit from an upgrade was the sound system. The microphone setup didn’t deliver clear audio consistently, and improving this would help create a more immersive class experience.

The Facilities And Public Areas
Public areas were clean, fresh, and aligned with the brand’s aesthetic, with touches like blue lighting, a neon logo, and branded retail on display. The club was easy to navigate, and emergency signage and health safety elements were clearly marked. Workout towels were clean, complimentary, and thoughtfully presented, and a water refill station was available alongside bottled water for purchase.
However, there were no changing rooms or showers, and the single bathroom doubled as the only space to get changed, which could be inconvenient for some guests. The amenity selection was very limited, with no hairdryers or additional grooming products. Lockers were also not provided—only open cubbies for storage.
There was no designated waiting area or seating available, which made the club feel less accommodating before and after class. The lack of food options and additional refreshments also stood out. While the branding and cleanliness left a positive impression, the absence of several basic amenities brought down the overall experience.

Digital And Technology
Booking a class at Club Pilates Brentwood was simple and seamless, with a user-friendly website and branded app that made navigating class types and schedules feel effortless. The website had a polished, professional look with consistent use of the brand’s blue and white color scheme and high-quality imagery. Clear directions, easy-to-find booking prompts, and strong communication made the experience feel organized and welcoming from the start.
Social media pages were active and up to date, providing useful information and accurately reflecting the club’s vibe. The branded app also added a tech-forward touch, with integration options for wearable devices like the Apple Watch. However, emails—while professional in tone—were missing more vibrant branding. Penalty charges for missed or late classes were not outlined in the confirmation messages.
Still, the digital journey was smooth and modern. From the effective reservation system to clear online class descriptions and integrated tech features, the digital experience left us with a strong, positive impression.
