What to Expect From A Carrie's Pilates Plus West Hollywood Session
Carrie’s Pilates Plus in West Hollywood delivers a high-intensity, low-impact reformer workout that blends strength training, cardio, and Pilates for a full-body burn. Designed to tone, lengthen, and sculpt, classes are fast-paced, with quick transitions and slow, controlled movements that challenge both core stability and endurance.
The signature Full Body Burn is a 45-minute powerhouse session that emphasizes form, alignment, and results. While it is accessible to beginners, the intensity makes it feel advanced—so new clients are encouraged (but not required) to start with a Beginner Form Class, where instructors take time to break down machines, moves, and muscle groups in detail.
Expect a welcoming but serious fitness environment with themed specialty classes like ABS & A$$, Twilight Pilates, and White Lotus Playlist Rides, alongside 90-minute bootcamps and group-focused reformer sessions. Every class is rooted in precision and intensity, helping clients build a lean, strong physique and a sharp mind-body connection.
Carrie’s Pilates Plus is where West Hollywood goes for next-level Pilates training—whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned athlete, be prepared to sweat, be sore, and come back stronger. Grip socks are always required.

The Reception Service
The phone call offered the essential information needed to prepare for the visit, but the tone was somewhat flat. While our questions were answered clearly and accurately, the conversation lacked energy and warmth, and we had to guide the discussion by asking specific questions. The interaction felt more informative than inviting.
Our in-person experience, however, was highly impressive. We were greeted promptly upon arrival and identified as first-time visitors, receiving a complimentary branded water bottle and a handwritten welcome card. Registration was completed quickly and comfortably at the front desk, and we were given a helpful orientation without needing to ask, including clear directions to the studio and guidance on where to wait.
After class, we were not asked how the session went, but the interaction still felt thoughtful. We were walked through the membership options in detail, and the staff member demonstrated strong knowledge and confidence while highlighting key benefits of different packages. Questions about our training preferences helped personalize the recommendation. While there was no clear attempt to close the sale and no use of our name during interactions, the overall service was friendly, professional, and left a strong, positive impression.

The Class Experience
Carrie's Pilates Plus West Hollywood received our Class Experience Award of Excellence.
We were impressed by the overall class experience at Carrie’s Pilates Plus. The instructor brought a warm and energetic presence, delivering clear, confident instructions that kept the session flowing smoothly. The class began right on time and was well-structured, with regressions and progressions offered throughout to cater to various experience levels. A clear introduction, an engaging ab-focused warm-up, and smooth transitions between exercises set the tone for a strong session.
While the session was professionally led, it lacked personal connection. Our instructor did not make an effort to learn our name, ask about our training history, or connect individually before the class. Most of the session was led from a central podium, and while some encouragement was offered, little attention was given to the outdoor section where we were located. No physical adjustments or detailed form corrections were provided, and music volume in the outside section was too low due to the absence of a speaker.
The class wrapped up with a short cooldown and a warm close. After class, we approached the instructor directly, and she responded positively, offering compliments and helpful class suggestions. Although there’s room to improve personalization and engagement across the full studio space, the energy and clarity of the session made for an enjoyable and motivating experience.

The Equipment And Studio
The equipment and studio at Carrie’s Pilates Plus were highly impressive, blending functionality with a strong brand identity. We liked how each reformer was paired with a set of strength equipment in individual baskets, offering a variety of weight options to accommodate all levels. The equipment was clean, well-maintained, and of professional quality, with custom reformers featuring branded decals for a personalized touch.
The space was thoughtfully designed, with 18 reformers arranged to allow for plenty of room between participants. The indoor training floor was pristine and visually aligned with the club’s aesthetic, with on-brand elements like a neon sign and mirror decals. Outdoors, the studio continued to impress, featuring a black-and-white striped canopy, floral ceiling décor, and turf flooring. A grass wall added privacy and contributed to a cohesive, well-styled look.
The environment felt fresh, comfortable, and inviting throughout. With strong lighting, consistent temperature control, and high-quality sound, the studio provided a setting that balanced practical comfort with standout design flair.

The Facilities And Public Areas
The public areas at Carrie’s Pilates Plus were chic, cohesive, and impressively on-brand. The studio was easy to locate thanks to branded decals and bold signage out front. Inside, the space felt fresh and comfortable, with pops of pink, modern furniture, and floral touches carrying through from the lobby into the training areas. A crystal chandelier and stylish neon signs added flair, and professional, branded signage throughout reinforced the studio’s strong identity. High-quality branded apparel was also available for purchase.
Both restrooms served as changing and grooming areas and were impressively designed—one featured a flower wall and neon signage, while the other was styled with pink banana-leaf wallpaper and branded mirrors. Grooming amenities like dry shampoo, deodorant, and hair ties were attractively presented and fully stocked. There were no hairdryers or showers, and while the restrooms were spacious, they lacked seating for changing. Staff presence in the public areas was consistently professional, friendly, and well-dressed.
There were no lockers, and so we had to store our belongings near the reformers or along the windowsill, which did, however, feel secure due to the open layout. Workout towels were not provided. A complimentary water station was available, and branded bottled water and Celsius could be purchased. While no food options were offered, the studio’s stylish design, polished atmosphere, and strong branding made for an impressive public area experience.

Digital And Technology
Booking a class at Carrie’s Pilates Plus was a breeze. Both their website and branded app made the process simple and smooth, with no bugs or delays. One-off sessions and packages could be purchased online, and all booking details were easily accessible and adjustable through either platform. The client received timely confirmation via email and text, which clearly outlined cancellation policies and arrival instructions, helping them feel well-prepared for the visit.
The website was mobile-friendly and stylish, with a consistent tone and clean design that matched the studio’s brand. Class schedules, instructor bios, and brand values were all easy to find. Their social media presence was also strong and regularly updated, with visually consistent posts that reflected the energy and vibe of the in-studio experience. The emails were polite and personalized, though the branding could be enhanced with more visual elements and imagery to match the aesthetic of the club’s other touchpoints.
Overall, the digital experience felt professional and client-friendly, from browsing the site to booking the class and getting follow-up communications. While the technology used didn’t extend beyond a standard booking system, the experience still made a great impression.
