How Did Willow London Score Overall?

The full client experience at Willow London was good, achieving our Recommended rating.

The class was excellent, winning our Class Experience 4-star Class Experience Award.

The Highlights

The group class experience, guided by a knowledgeable and friendly coach, was a highlight of our visit.

What Our Evaluator Had To Say

“We were given our own blanket for the class, which was quite nice and something different."

“Our instructor took care to walk around the studio and felt very available for guidance or questions.”

“Our instructor was confident and clearly well-qualified in yoga.”

What To Expect From A Willow Session

Willow offers yoga, barre and pilates classes that are “inclusive, accessible and fun”. Yoga classes are either 45 or 60 minutes long, with a range of class types that include Yin, Flow and Chill. Pre and post natal classes are also available.

For barre and Pilates, sessions are 45 minutes long with a variety of class types offered.

The Reception Service

We were unable to make a pre-visit phone call as all three of our attempts were not answered.

On arrival at the club, the door was locked and we had to wait for around five minutes for the space to be prepared. Once in, the check in was smooth and quick and, after the session, the staff was comfortable explaining the package options to us.

The Class Experience

Willow received The Fit Guide 4-star Class Experience Award, making it one of London’s stand-out offerings.

Our instructor gave us a warm welcome to the class and offered us a good idea of what to expect and the structure. The session was for all levels, and options were given to make the movements easier or harder. The class had a positive and calming energy throughout, and we could feel there was a strong community vibe at the club.

Our instructor was also checking in clients and taking the next class, so we didn’t have an opportunity to talk to her afterwards.

The Equipment And Studio

The studio was clean and functional, but lacked distinctive design features.

The Facilities And Public Areas

Workout towels were not provided. Lockers were provided with key locks. Free water refill stations were available.

Overall the interior was pleasant and had a good vibe, but with no showers at the club it felt more built for locals than commuters. There was no water dispenser, and unfortunately our bottle didn’t fit underneath the tap for a refill.

Digital And Technology

The website is designed well with nice branding elements, although features such as a map or coach bios were not present. The brand’s social media pages contained high-quality content but were updated infrequently.

Pricing

Willow offers two introductory deals for first-time clients. Newcomers can enjoy three sessions for a special price of £40 or a month of unlimited classes for £150.

If you’re looking for a longer-term commitment, memberships are available from £160 for 10 classes per month up to £230 for unlimited classes.

Drop-in sessions are available at £24 per class, with smaller commitment packages also available, starting at a five-pack for £110.
