What To Expect From A Victus Soul Session
Victus Soul’s HIIT & RUN classes are either 40, 50 or 60 minutes long. The class is for all levels and is split between treadmill interval running and strength work.
The running component takes place on high-end Woodway treadmills and mixes up endurance running, sprints and ‘sled pushes’, which involve holding onto the treadmill and powering the belt with just your legs.
The strength component takes place on a Fitbench, which has dumbbells built in alongside other strength tools, with a balanced program that targets all muscle groups.
Sessions are differentiated by Upper Body, Lower Body & Core and Full Body.
Their STRENGTH REFORMER sessions are 45–50 minute small group classes combining strength and conditioning on state-of-the-art Allegro reformers. Guided by strength training principles, their trainers structure each session using progressive overload, tempo work and compound movements with dumbbells (2–22.5kg) to build muscle and improve endurance.
There are three class levels; foundations (beginner), signature (regular) and advanced (experienced).
The Reception Service
We had a great first impression at Victus Soul, starting with an upbeat and informative phone call that covered everything we needed to know and left us genuinely excited for our visit. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed and given a helpful orientation that made us feel at ease and confident heading into the class. The vibe at the front desk was relaxed but professional, and the team did a great job making us feel seen and supported.
After class, there wasn’t a proactive effort to keep the conversation going about future sessions, but once we showed interest, the receptionist offered clear, knowledgeable information about packages. She was able to answer all our questions easily and helped guide us to the best-value option. While there was no pressure to sign up, a few more questions about our goals might have elevated the interaction and made it feel more tailored.
The Class Experience
Victus Soul received our Recommended rating for the Class Experience.
Our class at Victus Soul got off to a strong start, with a friendly and informative induction that helped us feel prepped and ready. The trainer came across as confident and clearly knew their stuff, especially when explaining equipment options and encouraging everyone to work at their own pace. There was a great community vibe in the room, with lots of familiar faces and a warm group energy that helped set a positive tone from the beginning.
As the class progressed, though, things lost a bit of flow. The lack of a visible timer and minimal guidance between transitions left us unsure what was coming next. While there were moments of motivation and energy, there wasn’t much personalised attention or form correction during the session, and first timers like us didn’t receive much follow-up after the class ended. We finished with a well-paced cooldown, but it would’ve been nice to have a quick goodbye or check-in afterwards.
The Equipment And Studio
The studio space at Victus Soul felt fresh, clean, and well-maintained from the moment we stepped inside. The equipment was top-tier and in excellent condition, with everything we needed to suit a range of abilities. We especially liked the branded benches and large wall logo, which added a strong visual identity to the space.
The layout was convenient and there was plenty of room to train safely and comfortably. Lighting effects kicked in once class began, helping to build the energy and atmosphere, while the sound system delivered music at just the right punch. With a few extra design features or standout visual elements, the space could have had even more wow factor, but overall we were impressed with the setup and vibe.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Public areas at Victus Soul felt thoughtfully designed and welcoming. The scent of candles in reception set a calming tone, and stylish copper-and-concrete design details gave the space a distinctive, upscale feel. The branding was strong throughout, from the reception desk to the mirrors in the changing rooms, and the whole place felt fresh, tidy and well-organized.
Workout and shower towels were available free of charge, with the presentation showing clear attention to detail. There were plenty of lockers with number locks. Amenities in the changing rooms included dry shampoo, deodorant, and cotton products. Showers had consistent hot water and good pressure, but some dirt on the floor made the space less appealing.
We appreciated the coffee and smoothie bar, as well as the selection of drinks and snacks. With complimentary water on tap and upbeat music at a comfortable level, the public areas struck a solid balance between style and practicality.
Digital And Technology
Booking a class at Victus Soul was smooth and user-friendly, with a sleek, well-designed website that clearly reflected the brand’s ethos of mindful, future-focused training. We found it easy to navigate the platform, book our class, and access all the important information ahead of the visit. The website impressed with professional photography, clean layout, and clear class descriptions, giving us a good sense of what to expect. The follow-up email was informative and on-brand, helping us feel well prepared.
The social media presence was another strong point. With regular updates, high-quality visuals, and a Linktree that made it easy to access bookings and explore the club further, the digital experience continued to build excitement. Coach bios and branding were well integrated into the website, though a few areas could be polished. While no advanced in-class tech or digital training content was offered, the overall digital journey still left a positive impression.
