What To Expect From A Victus Soul HIIT & RUN Session
Victus Soul’s HIIT & RUN classes are either 40, 50 or 60 minutes long. The class is for all levels and is split between treadmill interval running and strength work.
The running component takes place on high-end Woodway treadmills and mixes up endurance running, sprints and ‘sled pushes’, which involve holding onto the treadmill and powering the belt with just your legs.
The strength component takes place on a Fitbench, which has dumbbells built in alongside other strength tools, with a balanced program that targets all muscle groups.
Sessions are differentiated by Upper Body, Lower Body & Core and Full Body.
The Reception Service
Our pre-visit call to the branch was excellent, the staff member was helpful, knowledgeable and led the conversation well. After the call, we felt excited and ready to attend our class.
In the club, both receptionists we engaged with were very friendly and made us feel at ease, and appeared to be making an extra effort to welcome us as a first timer to the studio. The team were comfortable talking about the packages afterwards, but didn’t ask any questions to establish our needs.
The Class Experience
Victus Soul received our Recommended rating for the Class Experience.
The experience started well, with a personalised induction to show us the ropes and what to expect in the session. Throughout the session, our coach appeared energised and was encouraging everyone to push themselves.
More guidance on the class structure and a clear, visible timer would have helped make it a smoother experience.
The Equipment And Studio
The studio was very clean and felt fresh. A few nice branding elements enhanced the space, such as the Victus Soul logos on the benches. The treadmills were high end, from Woodway.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Workout and shower towels were provided free of charge. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available.
Overall the public areas were spacious, and clean. The candles in reception were a really nice touch, and everywhere had a fresh feel.
Digital And Technology
The website is designed professionally, easy to navigate and has all the necessary features such as the timetable and coaches' bios. Also, the brand’s social media channels are regularly updated with fun and informative content. There was no element of technology as part of the group class concept.
