What To Expect From A SoulCycle Session
SoulCycle is a premium indoor cycling offering that delivers soulful, music-driven rides in a fun and nightclub-like environment. Their “boundary-pushing” workout is designed to uplift and empower in an environment that’s inclusive and non-judgmental. During the class, everyone cycles in time with the beat of the music, creating an in-sync unity and vibe that’s made it world-renowned.
They often do themed rides featuring particular artists, for example, you might find a Beyonce Vs Jay-Z class, and each instructor becomes well-known for their music selection.
If you’re a first timer to SoulCycle, we recommend seeking out a class or instructor that you vibe with and shares your taste in music.
The Reception Service
Our pre-visit call to the branch was great, with the staff explaining everything we needed to know in a concise and friendly manner.
The team at SoulCycle made us feel incredibly welcome, with everyone on the team taking the time to make sure our first session was a good one.
After the class, they went through the different membership options and helped us download the app and go through its features. We felt like they were happy to welcome us and would like to see us back.
The Class Experience
SoulCycle Soho received The Fit Guide 4-Star Class Experience Award, making it one of London’s stand-out offerings.
The instructor welcomed first timers to the SoulCycle community with a shout-out at the start of the session, as well as regular check ins, at one point shouting “where are my first timers at?” This was a good-spirited and fun way to bring us in.
Our instructor had a positive and encouraging energy, and clearly wanted everyone to have fun. He was having a great time on the bike and encouraging the room to connect, creating a strong sense of community.
The Equipment And Studio
The training space strengthened the sense of the SoulCycle brand, and was clean and fresh.
The bikes were from Stages, with SoulCycle branding. At times, the balance of mic and music made it a little hard to hear the instructor.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Workout and shower towels were provided free of charge. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available.
The public areas had a clean, fresh, minimalist feel which felt calming. Branding elements were present, such as the yellow wheel trademark icon. They had a wide range of quality branded merchandise on offer.
Digital And Technology
We found it easy to make a reservation via the website as it was professionally designed and included all the necessary information. The club keeps social media pages up to date and consistent with the values and aesthetics of the brand.
