How Did Oncore Score Overall?

The full client experience at Oncore was positive, achieving our Recommended rating.

The class was excellent, winning our Class Experience 4-Star Class Experience Award.

The Highlights

The class experience was a real highlight, which was backed by a friendly and welcoming instructor.

What Our Evaluator Had To Say

“I enjoyed the experience and found the coach to be friendly and helpful."

“The class was well planned and I was able to go at the pace that suited me."

What To Expect From A Oncore Ride Session

Ride is Oncore’s signature 45-minute “spin” class. In a Ride session you’ll move to the beat of the music, with the instructor taking the 40 riders through a challenging session that will include sprints, hills and hand weight upper body exercises.

The Reception Service

We were unable to talk to the club prior to our visit, as our three call attempts were not answered.

The receptionist told us she was new to the role but was friendly. She was warm and put in a good effort, but limited information was offered on arrival and she did not yet seem comfortable with the training options available.

The Class Experience

Oncore received The Fit Guide 4-Star Class Experience Award, making it one of London’s stand-out offerings.

Our instructor was helpful, friendly and carried a positive attitude and energy throughout the class. She also did a good job of accommodating beginners and newcomers, letting us know that if we couldn’t match the beat or keep up, it was OK to sit back and take it at our pace.

Our instructor appeared to have a great time and it was nice to see a strong community vibe present in the club.

The Equipment And Studio

The Schwinn bikes were clean and in good condition, but with no branding elements. The training area was well lit, with lighting effects that ran along the ceiling and down the mirrors in the front of the class.

The Facilities And Public Areas

Workout towels were not provided, and shower towels could be rented for £2. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available.

The public spaces were generally basic and functional, with no stand out design features. The female only changing area was tight on space.

Digital And Technology

The online booking process was smooth and there was a good amount of communication from the brand via email. Their website was well-designed, eye-catching, and easy to navigate.

Pricing

Oncore offers a number of introductory deals for first-time clients. Newcomers can enjoy seven days of unlimited sessions for £50 as well as three classes for the special price of £30 (excluding reformer pilates classes).
