The full client experience at Barrecore Mayfair was great, achieving The Fit Guide 4-Star Award.
The class was the highlight of the experience and won our highest accolade, the 5-Star Class Experience Award.
The Highlights
The group class was a particular stand-out of the experience, with a very attentive instructor that went above and beyond to ensure our first session was a great one.
What Our Evaluator Had To Say
“The coach said that I had done a really great job for my first class."
“Explanations were with clear visual demonstrations, making them easy to follow."
“The staff member was very friendly and took the time to talk to me about what I should expect in the class."
What To Expect From A Barrecore Session
Barrecore uses bodyweight exercises, light dumbbells and a ball to create a workout that can be catered to all levels. Their signature class is called BarreSIGNATURE and uses high repetitions to work your muscles. BarreSWEAT offers low-impact cardio HIIT, whilst BarreADVANCED is for more experienced barre enthusiasts who want a challenge.
Pre-natal clients are welcome at the studio but a modification session is recommended to start training safely and with the correct guidance.
Barrecore Live is their digital option for those who prefer training at home.
The Reception Service
Our pre-visit call to the branch was excellent. The staff showed genuine interest in the client and described the workout very clearly.
In branch, the reception staff were both friendly and knowledgeable. They asked how we’d enjoyed the class and used our name, although a stronger effort to help us continue training at the club could have been made.
The Class Experience
Barrecore Mayfair has achieved The Fit Guide 5-Star Class Experience award for an outstanding class, putting it amongst the very best in London and the industry.
The instructor did a wonderful job of taking care of us, taking into account that it was our first time at the studio, and we were inexperienced in barre. Her energy was high, and she made an effort to meaningfully connect with everyone.
A great experience overall, although the class did run almost five minutes late.
The Equipment And Studio
The studio was very clean, fresh and at a good temperature. It was well lit and nicely designed, but with few strong branding elements.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Workout and shower towels were provided free of charge. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available. Showers were unisex.
On arrival there was no notable design elements, but once inside the overall feel of the public areas was inviting and warm. There was a wide selection of amenities available.
Digital And Technology
The website was informative and gave good details about the different classes on offer. The booking process overall was smooth and the website was easy to navigate, but there’s no booking app available.
