What to Expect From A Reshape Barre Session
Reshape is a women-only fitness studio in Dubai that offers a range of training modalities and classes designed to serve up “maximum fat burn, beautiful glutes, defined abs and energized mood”. Classes offered include Pilates, Barre, Stretching and ‘Booty & Abs’.
A Reshape Barre class uses ballet techniques with light weights and static exercises to target the body’s small muscle groups.
The Reception Service
All three of our attempts to contact the club by phone went unanswered.
On arrival at the club, the team was friendly throughout all the interactions, offering a physical tour of the club. A wristband was given to us to indicate to the coach that it was our first session.
After the class, the team was very comfortable and competent when talking us through the training options.
The Class Experience
Reshape received our Recommended rating for the Class Experience.
Our session started well, with the instructor making an effort to connect and learn our name before we began. She was friendly and appeared to be having fun leading the session. Her instruction largely focused on pushing the class to go harder and make movements more challenging.
There was a strong sense of community in the club, with regular clients interacting with us and bringing us into the conversation.
The Equipment And Studio
The equipment and studio were clean and everything was in good working order. The music was clearly an integral part of the workout, but the sound system struggled to fill the room powerfully.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Workout and shower towels were provided free of charge. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available.
The public areas had notable, unique design features throughout. There was a wide range of amenities available that were well presented and stocked.
Digital And Technology
The website had a fresh design that was in line with the club’s branding but did not offer the functionality to book classes online. The social media channels were updated regularly and provided good insights into the client experience at Reshape.
Pricing
The club operates a membership-only system which ranges from monthly commitments that grant the client access to eight classes per month, to unlimited class memberships.
Packages range from 840AED for eight classes in one month, to 7340AED for 96 classes over 12 months. Unlimited one, two and three-month options are available, as well as personal training.
