What to Expect From A POSTURE Session
POSTURE is a Pilates studio that stands for quality, offering a very experienced international team who are certified in a wide range of Pilates styles and methods. The workouts focus on building a mind and body connection with an approach that honors the original style of Joseph Pilates while introducing more holistic and modern elements to the practice.
Class types include Reformer Flow, which is for all levels and Reformer Tempo, which requires some prior Pilates experience. Classes are available both in their studio and online.
The Reception Service
All three of our attempts to contact the club via phone went unanswered.
At the club, our instructor was also on reception duties and was able to attend to us five minutes before the session started. After the session, there was no one available to speak to about continuing our training at the club.
The Class Experience
POSTURE received The Fit Guide 4-Star Class Experience Award, making it one of Dubai’s stand-out offerings.
Our instructor’s pleasant and professional energy made it a positive experience, as well as her close attention to form during the class. Progressions and regressions were offered for everyone, making the class suitable for all levels.
The Equipment And Studio
The equipment and studio were all in excellent condition and were a standout highlight. The training area was spacious with nice branding touches throughout.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Workout towels were not available. Lockers or a free water refill station were not provided. There were no shower facilities available at the club. The changing area did not match the high standards of design of the rest of the studio.
Digital And Technology
The booking process was simple and intuitive via the club’s website. More information on the club’s instructors would have improved the online experience.
Pricing
POSTURE offers an introductory deal for first-time clients. Newcomers can enjoy two of any of the club’s classes for 150AED.
If you’re looking for a longer-term commitment, reformer Pilates-only memberships are available from 1300AED for 10 classes per month up to 2400AED for 20.
Drop-in sessions are available at 160AED for a reformer Pilates class, and at 120AED for any stretch or tone mat Pilates class. Smaller commitment packages are also available, starting at a five-pack of reformer sessions for 775AED and a five-pack of stretch or tone mat Pilates classes for 575AED.
