What to Expect From A Barre Effect Session
Barre Effect offers a ladies-only 50-minute class that is driven by music, with each session featuring playlists curated by the instructor.
They focus on full-body movements centred around variety and clever programming to “keep your body guessing”. Class types include Mini Band Effect which is a barre class that incorporates band work, Cardio Effect which is a high-energy session and Bosu Effect which makes use of the half-swiss ball tool.
The Reception Service
Our pre-visit phone call was answered quickly and covered the basics needed for our visit.
At the club, the reception services were seamless during arrival and departure. All interactions felt natural, smooth and genuinely welcoming. The team also made a strong effort to ensure we knew when to enter the practice room and where our spot was.

Our instructor appeared to be having fun whilst teaching the class, with her energy and positivity added to an already impressive class experience. The class was wrapped up with downtempo music, and some light stretches, with the instructor making herself available afterward in the studio.
The Equipment And Studio
The practice room was large and offered a spacious place to practice. The room was also immaculate and very tidy, with equipment put away neatly on a dedicated in-built shelf. Dyson vacuum cleaners were used between sessions, highlighting their commitment to cleanliness.
The studio was well designed with lighting features on the ceiling that complemented the rest of the club. Windows on the outside wall of the practice room let in a large amount of natural light.
The Facilities And Public Areas
Workout and shower towels were provided free of charge. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available.
The public areas were highly impressive, providing a comfortable, well-designed experience. The amenities were comprehensive and well-stocked. A high-quality, Dyson hair dryer was provided. The overall design was consistent, on-brand and of notable quality.
Digital And Technology
Booking our session at the club was simple due to the well-designed and informative website. Follow-up emails also contained excellent detail and impressive branding elements. The club’s social media channels provided great utility and were updated regularly.
Pricing
Barre Effect offers an introductory deal for first-time clients. Newcomers can enjoy three sessions for a special price of 240AED.
If you’re looking for a longer-term commitment, an unlimited classes per month membership is available for 1400AED.
Drop-in sessions are available at 120AED per class, with smaller commitment packages also available, starting at a five-pack for 550AED.
